1.1: This image shows how the Sudanese have used to Nile River as a resource, utilizing and building a town on the edge. 1.2: This image shows part of Khartoum, the capital of Sudan. I think it is interesting to see how to large city compares to how many other Sudanese live. 1.3: This image shows a typical classroom in Sudan. It is interesting to note how different this school looks compared to American schools. 1.4: This striking image shows people going on their daily lives, with a decrepit tank in the middle of the road. It is hard to imagine having to be surrounded by war paraphernalia every where in the country. 1.5: This image is powerful because it shows a women with all her belongings. Many people lost their homes due to their wars in Sudan. |

1.1: This image shows the Taka Mountains in Sudan.
1.2: This is an image in South Sudan during a rainy season. It is important to notice the vast differences of land that Sudan has. 1.3: This image shows some farming near a desert. It is funny to see how agriculture can be successful right next to mountains of desert sand. 1.4: This image shows the Nile River running through Sudan. I chose this image because it comments on how Sudan can be using the Nile, but it needs to work on its dam infrastructure more. 1.5: I chose this image of the Nile River as well because it shows how to Nile is a fishing resource. The young boys could be fishing for sport, but more likely fishing for food. |
